Celebrated author and Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana‘s wife Tahira Kashyap had a special announcement on Saturday. An overjoyed Tahira took to her social media handle to share the news of welcoming a new member to the family — ‘Peanut’. Well, those who are curious about this new member can relax. Sharing an adorable story about Peanut, Tahira’s post reads: “The person who helped us get peanut told me, it’s always the boys that are picked 1st & so no matter how cute peanut’s bro was, I wasn’t letting her be the 2nd choice.”

Tahira’s brother-in-law Aparshakti Khurana was quick to respond to the post: “Coming home nowwww to welcome our baby” while dropping loads of heart emojis. Meanwhile, Nusrat Bharucha tweeted: “Aww soo cute!! Need to come play with her like now!!!”

Yami Gautam, Lisa Mishra, Pragya Kapoor, Niti Mohan, Tara Sharma, Nupur Sanon, Twinkle Khanna, Bhumi Pednekar and several others from the B-Town also congratulated Tahira and kept praising Peanut’s beauty. Tahira, on the other hand, is already calling Peanut an ‘extension’ to her hair (due to the same colour – brown).

Meanwhile, Ayushmann Khurrana is in Chandigarh shooting for his upcoming film ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’, being directed by Abhishek Kapoor. Incidentally, the actor despite being in his hometown decided to stay at a hotel instead of going home because of the coronavirus threat and the risk he might put his family in.
