After 14 rounds, three teams — Gokulam Kerala, TRAU FC and Churchill Brothers FC Goa — are in a race for the title. The trio have 26 points each and if they end with the same number of points, the head-to-head results will decide the title winner. Meanwhile, Gokulam Kerala just need to beat TRAU FC to secure their maiden I-League title, as the Kerala club lead second placed Churchill Brothers on head-to-head record.
TRAU FC too are in a similar equation if they are to lift their maiden I-League trophy. They need to beat Gokulam Kerala and they can claim the trophy even if Churchill Brothers win against Punjab FC in the other game.
