Indictments were read out before Colombo High Court Judge Namal Balalle today relating to the case filed against Parliamentarian Patali Champika Ranawaka over the motor accident in Rajagiriya in 2016.
The High Court Judge decided to hear initial objections against the indictments on the 27th of April, after the attorney representing MP Champika Ranawaka stated he intends to file initial objections.
Indictments were filed for conspiring and fabricating false evidence, providing false information to screen an offender and other charges.
