Kanika Dhillon gets engaged to Himanshu Sharma

Bollywood writers Kanika Dhillon and Himanshu Sharma got engaged to one another on Monday afternoon. They both have been dating one another since quite some time.

Kanika and Himanshu made their relationship official in June. They now exchanged rings in a private ceremony. Reportedly, only Kanika and Himanshu’s family members were part of the ceremony.

Kanika shared photos from their engagement ceremony. She was seen in a yellow-coloured salwar suit at the ring ceremony. Meanwhile Himanshu was seen wearing sky blue coloured kurta, cream coloured jacket and white pyjama.

Kanika, Himanshu and their parents could be seen in a few photos. Kanika also shared images of only her and Himanshu from the ceremony. Sharing the images, she wrote, “#Famjam and more .. with #himanshusharma.”

Talking to Pinkvilla, Kanika and Himanshu shared, “After being in a relationship for a while now.. we are happy to announce we are engaged and getting married soon. Looking forward to a happy and great life ahead.”

Kanika is best known for working in Manmarziyan, Kedarnath and Guilty. On the other hand, Himanshu is a National-Award winner writer who has penned Tanu Weds Manu, Tanu Weds Manu Returns and Raanjhanaa.

While Himanshi is working on ‘Atrangi Re’ starring Akshay Kumar, Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan, Kanika is penning Taapsee Pannu-starring ‘Haseen Dilruba’ and Shah Rukh Khan’s next with Rajkumar Hirani.
