Woman Discovers ‘Creepy Basement’ in Her House Which She Finds out Beneath Carpet in Viral Video

You may think that you know every nook and corner of your home but do you? Well a recent TikTok video doing the rounds on social media has astonished netizens as much as it has surprised the owner of the house who stumbled upon a secret basement in her house.

The social media user was completely unaware of the fact that a secret space existed in her house until she went to replace the carpets on the ground floor. She shared her discovery in a video where she can be heard in an exciting voice saying that she has a basement in her house. As she removed the floor carpet, the lady discovered a handle of a trapdoor and when she pulled it upwards, there stood a surprising stairway leading to the basement. The caption of the video read, “When you pull the carpet off your floor and FIND A BASEMENT YOU NEVER KNEW ABOUT.” The post shared last week, has certainly astounded many netizens and has since gone viral, receiving over 4.5 million views, with many viewers left “creeped out” by this unexpected discovery.

One of the users commented on the video, and warned that the lady should not go downstairs as this is how every typical horror film starts. While some users suggested the lady to leave the door closed and leave for her own safety and peace of mind.

According to a report by the Sun, another comment jokingly urged the TikTok user to close the trapdoor before she “releases the demons”. While a third user added that she should just cover the trapdoor with the carpet and pretend like she never saw it.

In a follow up video, she shared that just a few seconds after she took the first video from the basement there was a humming noise that freaked out her friends who immediately wanted to go home. She further mentioned that she is not going to go down to the basement and she is pretty afraid because of the unsettling vibes.
