Vishal’s action thriller Chakra to finally release on February 12 in theatres

After a lot of speculations, Vishal’s upcoming film Chakra is set to release in cinemas. Earlier, there were rumours that makers are planning for an OTT release. Now, it is official that Charka is set to hit big screens on February 12. Helmed by debutant MS Anandan, the upcoming action-thriller is based on an online scam. Shraddha Srinath and Regina Cassandra play important roles and is produced by Vishal Film Factory.

Chakra was earlier set to release on May 1. However, the makers had to postpone due to the ongoing pandemic. Produced by Vishal, under his banner Vishal Film Factory, the film also has Srushti Dange, Manobala and Robo Shankar in key roles. Well, after Vijay”s Master and a couple of other Kollywood films, Vishal starrer next is releasing in cinemas after almost 10 months. Moviegoers are back to cinema halls and are watching the film with new guidelines and rules. 

Meanwhile, reports are also doing that Karthi’s Sulthan to have a theatrical release. Co-starring Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead, the upcoming Tamil film is directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan of Remo fame and produced by SR Prabhu’s Dream Warrior Pictures. The film marks Rashmika Mandanna’s debut in Tamil film industry.
