After a long break from work, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is super stoked to go back on sets. The actor shared a picture on social media from the airport, announcing that he is jetting off to London not to start for his next film, Sangeen.
Sangeen is directed by Jaideep Chopra and will star Elnaaz Norouzi opposite Nawaz. Describing it as a unique film with thought-provoking characters, Nawaz had earlier talked to a daily and said, “I am looking forward to teaming up once again with Elnaaz Norouzi after ‘Sacred Games’ The script is an experimental one and I am sure Jaideep Chopra will do full justice to it and together we will be able to discover something novel.”
Elnaaz too, had expressed her excitement for the film and said, “Sangeen is an incredible script, a role I’ve always secretly dreamt of essaying as an actor. I am looking forward to bringing that complex character to life with Jaideep sir who has written it so skilfully.”
Nawazuddin was the first choice for the role and director Jaideep Chopra admitted that he couldn’t think of another actor he’s want to see play the lead role.
