Ford EcoSport Price: 2021 Ford EcoSport starts at Rs 7.99 lakh, to offer sunroof in Titanium trim | – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Ford India on Monday launched the 2021 Ford EcoSport. The SUV now comes with a sunroof in the Titanium trim, enhanced connectivity features, lower cost of running, and an enhanced warranty.
The 2021 Ford EcoSport starts at Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The petrol variants range between Rs 7.99 lakh – Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and the diesel variants range between Rs 8.69 lakh – Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV is offered in 5 trims- Ambiente, Trend, Titanium, Titanium+, and Sports.
The 2021 Ford EcoSport gets the same BS6-compliant engines- 1.5-litre Ti-VCT petrol engine and 1.5-litre TDCi diesel engine. The petrol engine offers 122 PS of power and 149 Nm of torque, while the diesel engine offers 100 PS of power and 215 Nm of torque. Both the engines are offered with a 5-speed MT and the petrol engine gets an additional 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

The most prominent addition in the 2021 Ford EcoSport is the sunroof which is now available with the Titanium trim too, making half of the line-up sport the feature. Ford EcoSport also gets enhanced FordPass connected features. The cloud-connected factory-fitted device can perform several vehicle operations like starting, stopping, locking, or unlocking remotely.
The SUV doesn’t feature any major changes in the exterior or interior styling. It comes with up to 6 airbags offering optimum safety to the occupants, a standard 8-inch touchscreen system and a 9-inch infotainment system in some variants, and driver assistance features like automatic headlamps, electrochromic mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, and much more.
The automaker claims that the EcoSport offers a maintenance cost of 36 paise/km for the petrol variant and 46 paise/km for the diesel variant. The automaker also offers a warranty of 1,00,000 km/3 years with the 2021 EcoSport.
