Health authorities have today (18) confirmed 34 COVID-19 deaths which had taken place between May 11 – May 18.
Accordingly, the total number of COVID-19 fatalities is at 1,015.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka also recorded 2,518 COVID-19 cases today.
According to the situation report of the Epidemiology Unit issued at 10.00pm today, the total number of infections has increased to 147,720.
The report adds that there are 25,560 patients under medical care and 121,145 recoveries at the moment.
