The 2 Series Gran Coupe 220i Sport is available at an introductory price of Rs 37.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The 220i Sport variant makes the 2 Series Gran Coupe slightly more affordable as the standard 220d variant starts at Rs 40.40 lakh (ex-showroom). The other two variants 220i M Sport and 220d M Sport, are priced at Rs 40.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 42.29 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.
The BMW 220i Sport is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder BMW TwinPower Turbo engine. The petrol mill offers a total power output of 198 hp and a peak torque of 280 Nm. The car clocks 0-100 kmph in 7.1 seconds. The engine is paired to a 7-Speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission.
The front-wheel-drive car doesn’t compromise on driving dynamics and offers ARB (actuator contiguous wheel slip limitation system) tech and DSC to reduce understeer. BMW Performance Control system also increases the stability of the car. Three driving modes- Eco, Pro, Comfort and Sport – with traction control, launch control, cruise control, BMW Efficient Dynamics and paddle shifters offer an exceptional driving experience.
On the inside, the 220i Sport comes with features like BMW ConnectedDrive, BMW Live Cockpit Plus with 8.8-inch control display, 3D navigation, a 5.1-inch interment cluster, BMW Virtual assistant, parking assistant, sport seats, ambient lighting and much more.
The 220i Sport variant also comes with a comprehensive safety package that includes features like 6 airbags, ABS, brake assist, electronic diff locks, cornering brake control and a few more.

The deliveries of the 220i Sport have commenced and the automaker is planning to introduce the petrol variant of the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe ‘Black Shadow’ limited edition very soon. The diesel version of the limited edition was completely booked the day it was announced.
