The K-Pop superstars have hit a new high by becoming the first Korean group to have their music video cross the 1.5 billion views mark on YouTube. The girls dropped the hit track back on June 15, 2018, and officially crossed the milestone on February 23 at approximately 6:38 p.m. KST.
According to records, ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ took two years, eight months, and eight days to hit the 1.5 billion view mark.
PSY’s ‘Gangnam Style’ is the only other Korean music video to have over 1.5 billion views on YouTube.

While this is a new record for the girls, it is not their first song to cross the 1 Billion mark on YouTube. The girls have songs like ‘BOOMBAYAH’, ‘Kill This Love’ that are also in the Billion views club.
