NEW DELHI: Audi India’s chief, Balbir Singh Dhillon, on Monday shared that the Audi A4 sedan has begun production at the Skoda Auto Volkswagen India’s plant at Aurangabad. The Audi India Chief took it to Instagram to reveal the commencement of the production.
The 5th-gen Audi A4, which is expected to hit the roads by the end of first half of 2021 will almost be two years late to the Indian market. The 5th-gen Audi A4 made its global debut back in May 2019.

The Audi A4 is expected to range somewhere between Rs 42 lakh – Rs 48 lakh (ex-showroom).
The sedan is expected to boast a BS6-compliant 35 TFSI engine that offers 152 PS of power. The 1984cc engine will offer a torque of 270 Nm and will be paired to an S tronic transmission. The entry-level variant of the sedan will be able to clock 0-100 kmph in 8.9 seconds and achieve a top speed of 210 kmph.
The Audi A4 could be offered in 4 trims in total with two of them being quattro all-wheel-drive variants.
